After the success of last year's conferences in San Francisco and New York City, TechCrunch Disrupt returns in to both cities in 2011, with the addition of a third conference in Bejing. New York will host the first of the three events on May 23-25.

The main event, which launched two dozen startups in 2010, will be preceded by a Hackathon event on May 21-22 in which developers gather to hack together a product in 24 hours. GroupMe, which went on to raise over $10m, was born during last year's Hackathon and the results of the 2011 session are eagerly awaited.
