For Us, Every Day Is International Women's Day.

Every day is International Women's Day for us. We have had the privilege to meet many awesome female founders, investors and decision makers, who have shared their experiences and insights and have given us food for thought.  And, of course, we look forward to meeting many more of them.

The Female Heroes Series is our latest effort to spread the word about influential women and their achievements worldwide. It's an ongoing project, so feel free to contact us and suggest women we should profile or interview.

We recently sat down and talked with Claudia Langer, Founder & CEO of Utopia AG, who spoke about entrepreneurs' responsibility to change the world.

We discussed about the importance of International Women's Day with Annabel Karmel, a successful businesswoman and authority on children's nutritional issues.

From Esther Dyson, a world leading angel investor, we learned a few things about top investments and trends.

Michelle Bonat, CEO and Founder of RumbaFish offered great social media tips.

Suzi Dafnis, Community Director of the Australian Business Women's Network, explained to us how technology enables small companies to ''punch above their weight."

Yesterday Talyn Rahman-Figueroa, the Founder & Director of innovative agency Grassroot Diplomat, shared her thoughts on the struggle for equality and empowerment that women face in the diplomatic world. However, she also offered a message of hope -- women are slowly but steadily making their way into the embassies. And as Talyn pointed out, women’s equal participation in diplomacy plays a crucial role in the general process of the advancement of women in any field.

Ending on this positive note, we wish you all a Happy Women's Day and hope to share many more inspiring stories and successes with you.
