Fashion Platform Dressipi wants to Become your Personal Stylist

Every day we get press releases about new fashion websites that are launched all over the world. And some names come back to us more often. One of those is a new website called Dressipi  which was founded by a serial entrepreneur Sarah McVittie. We know her well, as she is a mentor in the NextWomen mentoring program and she has been a speaker at our events.

Dressipi promises to become your new best friend when it comes to shopping and styling.

It is essentially a free personal shopper. The test phase of the website have been going on some time now, and they are launching more and more features to the public.

And we are getting more and more friends of Sarah who recommend it to us.

So I have tried. And one of the things that is a barrier to me is that when you sign up you have to give your measurements. And who knows those, and who has tools to measure those? So that step i would delete.

If you overcome this hurdle, you give also your preference and away you go...

One friend of Sarah says to us: "I have been a test user during development and it is great"

Dressipi believes that buying clothes should delight us and inspire us. They say:

"We understand your taste in clothes is complex and individual. Dressipi is a new shopping and styling service that gives everyone the know-how to look good at all times. We make shopping simpler and looking good effortless."

Dressipi learns about your fashion style, silhouette, budget and other preferences and look for the clothes that match your personal needs and desires. They say take the work out of deciding what to buy and wear – searching the tens of thousands of clothes online, so our members don’t have to.

So that sounds like really useful to me.

It is like having a personal stylist on tap, 24×7, for free.

Try it and tell us more....

and maybe you decide that Sarah McVittie has had the right idea at the right time.
