Zoopla's Traffic is increasing in a Difficult Real Estate Market
Zoopla, the UK's most comprehensive property website, is in the news. Despite the real estate market being in dire need of some traction, the disruptive business model of Zoopla is attracting more and more visitors.
The portal currently claims to see a total of 8 million unique visitors per month, and has just launched a new heatmaps feature. In view of its expansion, CEO Alex Chesterman has now made an important executive hire by appointing Lydia Goldberg as its new product director.
Goldberg is an experienced online executive. Her most recent role was as product director at local search and lead generation company European Directories. Prior to that, she was a digital product development director at Trinity Mirror plc, and has previously held roles at Yahoo!, BT and yell.com.zoopla.co.uk says Goldberg will oversee all trade and consumer product related activities and will be responsible for product definition, development and delivery as well as management of the product team.
The team at zoopla.co.uk can be qualified as diverse.
In 2010 ex-match.com managing director Charlotte Harper was hired as Zoopla'smarketing manager.
