Seedcamp Mini is now open for Startup Ideas

If you're running a start-up, you'd better take a minute now to read this article. Reshma Sohoni, CEO of Seedcamp, a network for entrepreneurs and start-ups has announced this week mini-Seedcamp, London. The objective of Seedcamp is to connect entrepreneurs with each other as well as with 300+ advisors who can help them build their company - ranging from seed investors, product experts, marketers, lawyers, PR and venture capitalists.

Reshma says: "I am a great supporter of the start-up community and recognise how tough it is, especially in today's economic climate.  It's hard to start a company. There are no real courses out there..., and that's where Seedcamp comes in."

Today, applications open for London (there are other events in Tel Aviv, Paris, Warsaw, Berlin, Stockholm, and Slovenia).  These mini Seedcamps are one day events where (at each event) 20 of the region's best, seed stage tech start-ups get to meet (and be mentored by) experienced entrepreneurs and investors.  The London event takes place on 20th April. For more information see their website.

As said last year at The NextWeb, I'm glad to see that the advisory board has many female internet heroes: Sherry Coutu, an early stage investor, Sara Murray, founder of, Bindi Karia of who runs the UK Startup Accelerator Programme of Microsoft and Lori Vokes, Operation Director of Cisco. The NextWomen supports the programme.
