What Women Want in Mobile is a community created to help the mobile industry understand what they can do to reach maturity - by developing devices and services which appeal to the 'other 50%' of the market. Co-Organizer is Claire Boonstra, Managing Director of SPRXmobile and Partner in Zcapes.com. An international conference "What Women Want on Mobile" will take place on August 17th, 2009 in Amsterdam.

The platform is created by women, and is targeted at the entire industry: men and women, manufacturers and service developers, bloggers and journalists, telecom operators, retailers and advertisers. There are some high caliber women in the mobile industry like Sarah McVittie of Texperts, and of course women of the Top 50 Women in Mobile Content who might want to take an interest in this new platform, that currently has about 60 members.
