Preventing Fashion Blunders Through Online Register
While the world is talking about Michelle Obama's inaugural dresses, a new website hopes to limit the chance of women attending balls to wear the same dresses. The dressregistry aims to prevent social nightmares by allowing you to register the gown you’re wearing to a specific occasion. The site allos yout to enter the color, length, designer, neckline description and other distinguishing characteristics. You can even upload a photo of it. Although the company is US based, events you can register for include the Vienna Opera Ball and the Geneva Fashion Fair Gala.
One would have expected a woman to come up with this, but the founder is, in fact, a man. Andrew Jones told reporters he got the idea after his wife traveled from their home in West Palm Beach in Florida to New York City to buy a gown for a charity ball in their hometown, so as to avoid seeing the same dress at the event.
No lets hope that everyone indeed registers..
