Hermine Voute, Employment Law partner with global law firm Loyens & Loeff, and self-proclaimed 'terrier' in litigation cases, talks (in Dutch) with Simone Brummelhuis in the internet programme SHE, of Blue Shots.
She discusses diversity in law firms, the need for women to promote their own achievements and the fact that law firms are losing Rolls-Royces when female associates leave after 8 years. She predicts huge lay-offs in The Netherlands as of September 2009 as a result of the credit-crises. Minster Bos is greatly criticized by Hermine in handling the appointments of directors at the failing Dutch Banks.
