Myngle wins another prize at European Venture Summit

Jury Rapport MyngleMYNGLE, the global language platform, and winner of the Accenture Media & Innovations Award 2008, has just being announced as winner ICT company at the Europe Unlimited' s European Venture Summit.
EVS is a showcase for the most promising  European Information Technology, biotech and new energy entrepreneurs. Founder and CEO Marina Tognetti answered a couple of quick questions from The NextWomen:

What does it mean to you this prize at European Venture Summit?

'The prize is in this case only fame, but means high exposure and interest from European VCs. In fact I got a few of the largest VCs that stated interest in discussing future financing with us when needed.'

Are you thinking of a second funding round? When?

'Not yet. But I will start talks much in advance, in order to be able to drive the discussions and not to get in any liquidity problem. I believe it is better to handle from a strength position then a position of urgent need.'

How many are in your team? And turnover?

'We are at the moment 13 people, including 5 interns, but I am recruiting a few additional people, especially in marketing and sales, as 2009 will be the year of accelerating growth.  Turnover, I prefer not to tell, as competitors are also watching.'

One of the Jurors said about Myngle: "The market potential is high and the path to growth and profitability defined by Myngle is clear and well thought. The excellent presentation reflects all this."

Myngle previously participated in Europe Unlimited' s Benelux Venture Forum on March 18, 2008. The forum brought together the 50 most promising companies in the fields of Information Technology, life science and clean technology from the Benelux region. After being awarded top honours at the Benelux Venture Forum, Myngle was invited to participate in EVS in Düsseldorf on December 1 and 2, 2008
