MBA's hires expected to grow
The future is is looking bright for MBA graduates. The QS MBA Tour, an MBA fair hosted by QS, a global career and education network, has reported that it expects employers to recruit a record number of MBA graduates into various sectors in 2008.
Although QS reports that the financial sectors will cut down on recruitment in general, young talented MBA's can expect to be recruited for the next market upturn, and to fuel the rapid expansion in the banking sector in Asia, Eastern, Europe and the Middle East.
In the consulting and industrial sectors, the QS even predicts that recruitment will increase with 5 to 10 % in 2009.
Despite the 'softening economy', QS has reported that the placement rate for 2008 MBA graduates is on par with last year's graduates.
So for all those women contemplating an MBA- now is as good a time as any!
