Mesh secures Addidi Angel funding
Online Cultural Marketplace Mesh has just secured its first round of funding from a new group of women investors. The wealth management company Addidi launched it's women-only business angel network this week and Mesh is their first investment. Kay Vasey, Director of Mesh said "the angels have been incredibly helpful, well-organised and understanding".
Mesh aims to connect the arts and business worlds. It provides creative inspiration and promotes private investment in the arts to its community of cultural investors via a virtual concierge service. By learning what its members love, Mesh provides personalized recommendations of cultural experiences and also connects like-minded individuals. For cultural experience providers, Mesh offers an interactive platform allowing them to engage in a creative discourse with an audience of co-creators that can help shape and improve their offerings.
It has gathered a mass of over 700 beta testers and over 2,000 individuals signed up.
